
Why I Write
When I was a child, I loved to read. I still do, of course- but it's much harder now to find a book that my soul loves.
When I read fiction, I like to escape. I like to laugh. I like to feel good about the world. So, I try to write what I would like to read- stories that are fun and funny but not corny; stories that can be read with someone's grandmother without skipping scenes or closing the book in embarrassment.
I hope my books bring you laughter and comfort. I pray the events give you happy thoughts to ponder... we could all use more happy thoughts these days! And if you read my books with your grandmother/mother/daughter/friend, may you share some laughs and learn more about each other along the way.
